Apprentices Kate and Philip are engaged!

It’s been a miserable week of celebrity deaths and irritatingly hot weather – so here’s some good news for you – The Apprentice’s Philip Taylor and Kate Walsh are engaged!
The happy pair were spotted picking a £3,000 ring, holding hands and giggling at a jewellers in London’s Hatton Garden this week. They fell for each other during the BBC reality show, and split for a brief period – but they soon got back together.
Said a source: "They are very much in love and this was always more than a work fling. Neither of them wanted to split. Once the show aired they were reminded of how well they had got on and Phil picked up the phone.”
“They were back in each other's arms within days and now it looks like they will have each other for life. Phil had been known as a womaniser but Kate has ended all that. He loves her to bits and is smitten."
Kate, the show’s runner-up, and Phil, whose legacy lives on in the form of underrated breakfast cereal hero Pantsman, jetted off to New York on holiday together last week, staying in Manhattan’s pricey Waldorf Astoria, which is presumably where Phil popped the question.
Congratulations to them both. With such business nous between them, we’d love to know what kind of deal they got on the wedding ring…
